Own. Denim launches in Canada at The Bay
London-based size-inclusive denim brand Own. Denim made its debut in Canada on Wednesday via a new partnership with The Bay.
Canadians will have access to 40 premium and affordable denim styles, including low to ultra-high-rise, straight leg to flare and authentic washes, that range from light grey to black as well as a selection of luxe metallic finishes. Completing the collection is a selection of tops to finish the look.
Available at thebay.com, the collection launches with a star-studded campaign featuring celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Olivia Vinten, Jessie Li, Bola Edun, Caitlin Lamb, Mykeesha Nelson and Meghan Roach.
For The Bay, the partnership is in line with its plans to target Millennial and Gen-Z shoppers.
“The Bay is so pleased to be the only destination in Canada that is bringing Own. Denim to shoppers,” said Laura Janney, chief merchant at The Bay.
“We have been curating a Next Gen assortment that delivers on quality, inclusivity and style at accessible price points, and I believe that Own. Denim is going to become a denim mainstay for Canadian style seekers.”
The Bay is home to a large assortment of fashion, beauty and home brands, including a number of first-to-market stores. Last December, it was River island who decided to boost its presence abroad via a deal with the major retailer.
