Pandora estimates FY2015 revenue at 16.7 bln DKK

Pandora on Wednesday announced that, based on preliminary reporting, it saw a 40% increase in FY2015 revenue at (€2.2 bln) from 11.9 bln (€1.6 bln) DKK in FY2014. According to the financial report, all geographic regions contributed to the high growth levels in the fourth quarter of FY2015, which was driven primarily by strong Christmas sales.

Pandora anticipates an EBITDA margin of approximately 37%. The company estimates the CAPEX at approximately DKK 1,000 million and tax rates at 30%. Finalized earnings will be released on February 9, 2016, and executive management will provide further details at that time.

Pandora, founded in 1982 in Copenhagen, Denmark, is renowned for its hand-finished high quality contemporary jewelry at affordable prices. Currently, the company sells jewelry in over 90 countries via approximately 9,500 points of sale and concept stores. Pandora employs more than 15,000 people globally, with approximately 10,400 located in Thailand, where the company’s jewelry is manufactured.
