Paul & Joe Beauty is introducing a rather unique makeup collection for Fall 2019. With the wine harvest coming, the brand has handpicked a number of shades inspired by grapevines to bring a crisp autumn glow to the skin, the eyes, and the lips.

Paul & Joe

Seasons always bring change at Paul & Joe. After paying homage to the queens of disco with a playful, shimmering collection, the French brand's 'Les Vendanges' collection will celebrate one of France's favorite drinks: wine. The inspiration, although unusual for a cosmetics line, should play well with the earthy shades of autumn.

Purples, violets and a handful of rosy pinks dominate the palette, in shades inspired by the many facets of wine -- from fruity to dry and spicy. The hues will give depth and intensity to the eyes with a shimmering eyeshadow, a sweetness to lips with the 'Lipstick CS,' and a fresh glow to complexions with two shades of blush.

The collection's centerpiece, however, remains the pearlescent foundation primer, which makes its Paul & Joe comeback just in time for fall -- but only as a limited edition. The pearls suspended in the two glass vials -- in 'Pinot Noir' and 'Muscadet' shades -- will even out the complexion, reduce redness and provide a healthy glow, with the scent of freshly squeezed grapes as a bonus.

The collection's products are already on sale, except for the primer, which will be available from September 1. Price-wise, expect to pay between €17 (around US$19) and €32 (around US$35) for the makeup must-haves.
