Toronto-based lifestyle brand Peace Collective has teamed up with fast-food giant McDonald's Canada for the launch of an exclusive capsule collection.
Dubbed the 'McHappy Day x Peace Collective' collection, the line includes limited-edition t-shirts, socks, mugs and tote bags featuring McDonald's signature logo and colour scheme, as well as Peace Collective’s popular tagline “Home is Canada”.
The partnership officially kicks off the company's 26 annual McHappy Day, starting May 8, which supports Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada (RHMC) and other local children's charities.
"It's truly an honour to partner with McDonald's and RMHC for McHappy Day," said Yanal Dhailieh, Founder of Peace Collective, in a news statement. "Giving back is in our DNA so we are thrilled to get the chance to design this exclusive collection and bring our joint vision of helping families in need to life."
The clothing brand is well-known for its streetwear apparel featuring taglines such as “Home is Canada” and “Toronto vs. Everybody”. The company is also known for its pledge to donate some profits to the organization Breakfast for Learning, which helps feed school children.
On McHappy Day, $1 from every Big Mac, Happy Meal and hot McCafé beverage sold helps families and children across Canada. Likewise, all proceeds from the sale of the McHappy Day x Peace Collective collection will go to RHMC and children's charities nationwide.
The exclusive collection will be available at participating restaurants on McHappy Day.
