Peach & Lily opens K-Beauty pop-up at Bergdorf Goodman

Bergdorf Goodman is trying out the Korean Beauty trend. The department store has partnered with K-Beauty expert Alicia Yoon to open a Peach & Lily curated K-Beauty pop-up shop at its iconic Fifth Avenue location.

The pop-up shop is designed to feel like the inside of a powder room in Seoul. Five K-Beauty brands are featured, four of which will be sold exclusively in store and online through both Peach & Lily and Bergdorf Goodman's e-commerce sites. Products include facial soap bars, serums, and a range of cosmetics including eye palettes and highlighters.

Angela Welcome, Cosmetics Buyer at Bergdorf Goodman, said, "When we began to explore the opportunity of a partnership we found that [Alicia Yoon] had the most extensive knowledge of Korean beauty, a rapidly growing trend."

Alicia Yoon is the Founder and CEO of Peach & Lily, an aggressively curated e-commerce retailer focusing on Korean beauty products and trends. Peach & Lily boasts a 5% conversion rate between the K-Beauty products tested and those which make it onto the site which has developed a relationship of trust with its customers.

Yoon explained how Bergdorf Goodman's luxury customer experience helped shape the pop-up shop's assortment and overall design. She said, "we sought out brands that have a rich story to tell, introduce innovative formulas, and deliver exceptional results."

Yoon travels monthly to Korea to stay up to date on the hottest K-Beauty brands and products. The brands featured in the pop-up are Femmue, Abib, Eco Your Skin, Jungsaemmool, and Atoclassic.

In addition to being considered the architect of the K-Beauty trend in the US, Yoon is also a licensed esthetician in the US and Korea. As part of Bergdorf's celebration of Korean beauty, Yoon will also be available to book for facials in the Bergdorf Goodman Treatment Room.

The Peach & Lily pop-up is now open to the public at Bergdorf Goodman's flagship store at 754 Fifth Avenue. It is scheduled to run through the holidays and will close in the spring of 2018.
