Peak Performance names Joacim Sjödin European sales manager

Peak Performance has opted for an internal promotion this time. The chic Swedish outdoor accorded the European sales manager position to Joacim Sjödin, who has served as Nordic director for the past two years.

Sjödin’s will concentrate on the strategic markets of France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux. Having worked for half a dozen years in the golf industry, he joined Adidas in 1994.

In 2008, he stepped up to the role of Swedish country manager for the footwear company. In summer 2012, he joined Peak Performance, well known in the hiking, golf, running, and cycling communities, among others. In order to assist Sjödin at his new post, Andreas Scheibe, who has been with the company since 2008, has been named to the new country manager position for Germany.

Peak Performance is the premium outdoor division of the Danish group Ic Companys (Tiger of Sweden, By Malene Birger…). Over the first nine months of its fiscal year, which began in early June, the brand has seen sales grow by approximately 1.4% at 843 million Danish kroner (112 million euros) with earnings before interest and taxes at 129 million (17 million euros).
