Peri Arenas launches Peri.A boutique in Los Angeles

Published
Apr 28, 2017

The latest project from entrepreneur Peri Arenas is the LA luxury boutique Peri.A. Located on Robertson Boulevard, the new boutique opens in what was previously the Kitson Men store.

Peri.A comprises 2,400 square feet and will primarily stock up-and-coming designers for the luxury market, including some exclusive collaborations. Among the labels sold at the store are Marie Marot, Greg Lauren, Mira Mikati, Cecilia Ma and Rahul Mishra. But there will also be vintage pieces from more well known brands, such as handbags from heritage labels like Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

This is the second California boutique for Arenas, who previously opened the Veri Peri at the Parker Palm Springs. Veri Peri has since closed, but Arenas is hoping to bring unique, luxury brands to LA shoppers the way she did for Palm Spring’s residents and visitors.

The new Peri.A space was designed in collaboration with Los Angeles interior designer Lynda Murray, and includes elements to set it apart from other boutiques. Dressing rooms feature monitors that play music videos and films, while a back patio includes a space for customers to drink a coffee.

Among Peri.A’s neighbors are chain stores like Intermix and Curve, and Arenas is hoping the new boutique will be part of a revival for Robertson Boulevard. “Looking at locations I remember Robertson having its heyday years ago and thought, ‘I’m going to make it happen again.’ I’m a true optimist,” she said.
