Olivier Perruchot, director general of Piaget in France since 2001, has added another string to his bow by taking over the brand’s management in the United Kingdom; the brand’s British operations had hitherto been managed by an agent. Furthermore, Piaget has announced the opening of a boutique in London on New Bond Street in September.

Now internally directed, the development of the brand in the United Kingdom “will pass through an ultra-selective distribution network,” in the same manner as can be seen in France, as well as the “reaffirmation of the values and manufacturing capabilities of the brand.”

Olivier Perruchot will be now work from both London and Paris, the latest development in a fifteen year career with the brand having joined in 1995 as a sales director in France before taking charge of exports in 1998.
