Podcast: Sidney Toledano on how to control a luxury label’s trajectory
How to combine freedom of creative expression with corporate performance? Sidney Toledano, an LVMH group stalwart, was in charge of Dior couture over the course of about 20 years. In a French-language conversation with Godfrey Deeny for the latest LuxurynsightXFashionNetwork podcast, Toledano talks about his experience at the avenue Montaigne luxury label with Hedi Slimane and John Galliano.
Toledano is currently the CEO of LVMH Fashion Group, the division that includes Celine, Loewe, Kenzo and Patou. In the podcast, he describes his role as adviser and coordinator for the various labels, each of them with a different size and history. He also talks about the challenges faced by luxury labels in the coming years in terms of China’s creative milieu.
