The 6,300 square-foot space is located in Miami’s trendy Wynwood neighborhood, and allows a curated selection of brands to access short-term, flexible, full-service leases for pop-up shop-in-shops within the space. As an added bonus, The Shop also takes care of staffing, inventory, marketing, insights and POS for participating brands.

The Shop was founded by Barnett, who has served as Wade’s longterm stylist in addition to acting as a stylist for other notable athletes.

On December 2, The Shop held a primary opening in time for Miami’s Art Basel, with participating brands including Ports V, Carmelo Anthony’s Melo Made II x Maxhosa, Dwyane Wade’s sock brand Pkwy, Josie Bruno, Maison24, Public School, Rich Fresh and Slashed by Tia.

The retail concept will hold a second opening in January and remain open through April, featuring 20 to 30 brands, according to a press representative.

The Shop marks yet another special retail project to time its launch around Art Basel, joining similar debuts like Kith’s South Beach-inspired capsule with knitwear brand PH5 and Umbro’s collaboration with Coral Studios.
