Poppy Delevingne fronts new Cath Kidston campaign

Cath Kidston, a brand frequently associated with vintage prints and chintzy kitchenware, has unveiled a Spring/Summer 2019 campaign that sees it move towards a new design direction.

The campaign, a first for the brand in its 25-year history, is fronted by British model and actress Poppy Delevingne, whose family is often touted as one of London’s most well-connected.

Shot on location and in a studio in London by photographer Thomas Cooksey, the campaign captures Delevingne as she poses with Cath Kidston’s latest bag styles in a fantasy flower-filled taxi created by set designer Simon Costin.

The model wears a blue velvet suit, a striking departure from the brand’s printed dresses, to present the new Spring/Summer 2019 styles, including the new block colour leather range and the Birds Print collection.

And launching for Mother’s Day, Cath Kidston is introducing three new distinctive prints drawn by hand at the Cath Kidston design studio and three new bag styles in three sizes.
