Pottery Barn to launch new collection with Lilly Pulitzer
Pottery Barn has announced a new design partnership with resort label Lilly Pulitzer. For the first time in the company's history, the new collection will launch across all brands, including the teen and kids labels.
The Lilly Pulitzer collection for Pottery Barn will feature the designer's Palm Beach aesthetic and colorful hand-painted prints. Home pieces include bedding, furniture and décor. Bedroom, nursery, lounge, outdoor and entertaining pieces are designed to offer customers a way to bring the look into every space in their house.
Lilly Pulitzer will also release a special limited-edition womenswear collection using prints from the Pottery Barn collaboration. The collection will include both adult and child sizes.
In a release, Michelle Kelly, chief executive officer at Lilly Pulitzer, spoke of how the collection aimed to channel the brand's aesthetic, which, she said, has the ability to "connect generations" through it's messaging of a "resort state of mind."
Kelly said the Pottery Barn collection is a chance to bring the Lilly Pulitzer style into the home, which is an opportunity the brand always seeks out. Three years ago the brand partnered with Target for a designer collaboration that sold out. That line included home and entertainment pieces, as well as apparel.
The Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn brands collaboration will become available in March 2018, online and in store at Pottery Barn, PBTeen and Pottery Barn Kids.
