Prada group names Francesca Secondari as Group General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer
The Prada group has announced it has appointed Francesca Secondari as Group General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer. In her role, she will be in charge of corporate legal affairs and regulatory compliance for the group.
Secondari holds a law degree from the University of Perugia, Italy, and an executive MBA from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. She has pursued her legal career at the BonelliErede law firm in Italy, becoming a partner in 2019, where she was also involved in business development activities in Africa and the Middle East.
“[Secondari] has a solid professional grounding in extraordinary finance operations, M&A and corporate governance with a focus on ESG. In the course of her career, she has been involved in major operations in the luxury sector, acquiring an in-depth expertise in the industry and its various markets,” said the Prada group in a press release.
Secondari has intervened as a speaker in high-profile international conferences organised by UNIDO and the International Bar Association. She also does pro-bono work for Medici con l’Africa - CUAMM, and has set up an environmental protection programme for the Okavango Delta, in Botswana.
