Prada introduces shoe customization program at Bergdorf Goodman

Prada may be presenting its women’s Spring 2016 collection in Milan in a few weeks, but it has taken the spotlight now with its new made-to-order customizable shoe pop-up at Bergdorf Goodman.

 
From Wednesday, September 9 to Wednesday, September 23, customers can create a custom pair of Prada’s Microsole lace up brogues at Bergdorf’s Second Floor, Shoe Salon. Thirty-two color options are available including scarlet, mango and cobalt blue; two-tone options include scarlet and black, mercury and white, and black and white; and five sole options include calfskin, crocodile and python.

Production takes about 60 days from the order. They may not be ready for street style photos at fashion week, but they will be for the holiday season.
