Textile and apparel trade show Première Vision Paris will stage its session dedicated to Spring/Summer 2024 from Tuesday February 7 to Thursday 9. The session will showcase 1,245 exhibitors from 44 countries, a 25% increase in exhibitors compared to the February 2021 edition.

The PV Fabrics section will bring together 605 exhibitors, while PV Yarns will present the yarn and fibre products of 32 companies. PV Accessories, dedicated to components (buttons, studs, zips etc.) will host 195 companies, while PV Leather, featuring leather and exotic skins, will bring together some 100 exhibitors.

PV Designs, the section focused on textile design, will host some 100 firms, while PV Manufacturing, featuring finished products, will showcase some 150 companies.

The Smart Creation section, which has gradually become one of the most popular within the show, with 55 exhibitors for this edition, will add a new innovation-focused area called Smart Tech. It features some 20 companies specialised in digital solutions facilitating the industry’s transition to greater sustainability.

The Maison d’Exceptions section, dedicated to ateliers with unusual expertise, will be back with 23 exhibitors, including six newcomers. The Sport & Tech section will offer buyers a choice of 68 manufacturers of technical and performance fabrics, as well as 48 accessories producers. PV Paris will also feature some 300 exhibitors presenting solutions and fabrics for lingerie and swimwear.

Three distinct areas within the show, available both on-site and online, will focus on sustainable sourcing, respectively on dormant stocks, sustainable design innovations and environmentally friendly products. Visitors will be able to attend the show’s five thematic forums which, in addition to Spring/Summer 2024 trends, will highlight the latest innovations, leather products, garment design and decoration solutions.

The event’s three days will feature a number of conferences, with topics ranging from trend analysis to presentations of new solutions like Bananatex, Spiber, AirMycelium, InDuo and other fabrics. In the afternoon of February 8, the show will host a series of round-table debates on design digitalisation, supply chain issues, product development evolution, traceability and sustainability. On the latter, Ecocert will illustrate the various certifications and tools at the industry's disposal.
