Puma and Korean company Kasina reinterpret the Disc Lux

Published
Oct 13, 2014

In the retro runner trend, Puma has a choice asset with its Disc system. Launched in 1992, this system allows athletes to easily put on and fasten their shoes. Its atypical style was quickly an eye-catcher.

Today, the brand with the cat is reinterpreting its models in a lifestyle version. And associating itself with a leader in global streetwear, South Korean retailer Kasina. The associates give us two models of the Disc Lux, made using premium materials.

The Disc Lux C, made with quilted soft leather, plays with white, caramel and chocolate. The Disc Lux G uses leather and suede, playing with black and green and touches of red.

"Re-thinking style with a top of the line mind-set is our way of pairing Kasina with this classic," explained the South Korean creative team. "We are very happy with the results: a sneaker that is both stylish and comfortable."

The collaboration, which was initially only available in Kasina stores, can be found since 4 October in Puma stores and other select retailers.

Kasina, founded in 1996 in Busan, facing the university, currently has nine boutiques and an online store in South Korea.
