Puma and The Ragged Priest capsule is "made in heaven, with a touch of hell"

German sports giant Puma and Britain’s The Ragged Priest have joined forces for their first-ever partnership that’s billed as “a celebration of self-expression and individuality”.

Puma x The Ragged Priest

It’s a “grunge-inspired collection” that’s been “created to clash”, with styles that “stand out” via asymmetrical hems and patchwork stitching”.

Not one to cut back on the hyperbole, Puma said it’s “a partnership that was made in heaven, with a touch of hell”.

The Ragged Priest has been a disruptor label for 15 years with distinctive, grunge-inspired collections that feature worn-in knitwear and statement denim. It’s also known for its hardware details and other distinctive design details that help it span both streetwear and fashion.

What that has resulted in for the Puma collab is a series of pieces that “pay homage to the design signatures of both brands, featuring optimistic warped neon prints fused with black cult classic silhouettes, asymmetrical elements, and contrast stitching”.

The collection includes matching sets “complemented by wearable essentials in off-duty-style hoodies and sweatpants. Balancing vivid tones and psychedelic patterns with muted black and greys”.

It also features “subtle" Puma x The Ragged Priest co-branding throughout.

Importantly, given Puma’s strength in footwear, it offers two takes on the Slipstream sneaker to match the capsule apparel collection, plus “a radical take on the Mayze sneaker guaranteed to make noise among sneaker and streetwear fans alike”. The drop is completed by accessory options in a Mini Tote, Shopper Bag, and Bucket Hat.

It all launches on Thursday with prices ranging from $35 to $125.
