Pyer Moss and Reebok to open weekend pop-up in New York City
From April 12 to 14, American label Pyer Moss and Reebok will host a pop-up shop in lower Manhattan to offer the latest Pyer Moss collection and the newest collaborative pieces between the two brands.
Located on 107 Grand Street in SoHo, the retail pop-up will feature apparel and accessories from Pyer Moss' 'Collection 2' - pieces of which were depicted earlier this month in the second phase of the Pyer Moss 'American, Also' campaign - along with pieces from the second instalment of Reebok by Pyer Moss, including the black and white Mobius Experiment 3 sneaker.
In addition to gaining access to the latest releases, visitors to the pop-up will also have the opportunity to view “Seven Mothers,” a short film created with Director X and reportedly made to honor the seven women who were major figures in Jean-Raymond’s life following his mother’s passing.
Anticipation for the pop-up is high given the continued critical praise awarded to the label and its founder Kerby Jean-Raymond, who was named Pratt Institute’s Fashion Visionary Award honoree in March and won the 15th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in November of last year.
Currently, Jean-Raymond is a nominee for the 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards’ Menswear Designer of the Year award, the winner of which will be announced at the award show ceremony on June 3.
The shop will hold a grand opening on April 11, and will be open to the public from April 12 through April 14. Collection 2 and the Reebok by Pyer Moss collection will become available online on April 12 at pyermoss.com, reebok.com, and select retailers worldwide.
Reebok and Pyer Moss have been regular collaborators since 2017.
