RW&CO launches RWSport collection

Canadian fashion retailer RW&CO announced on Thursday that it is set to debut RWSport in the new year. 

Following the launch of loungewear in 2020, RWSport marks the brand’s very first sportswear collection. The collection, designed to be easily styled into shoppers' daily wardrobe and is expected to soft launch in January, with the official launch happening in February.

Customers can expect to find a collection that offers comfort and style to take them through everyday activities like coffee runs and Sunday errands. 

It’s no surprise that amid the pandemic activewear and loungewear has been a growing consumer category and retailers have been taking note by tweaking their overall offers.

RW&CO is not the first retailer to introduce a sub-brand with a sportswear focus. Similarly, last year, American Eagle Outfitters introduced 'Offline by Aerie', a collection of activewear and accessories, building on the success of of its leggings and activewear.

RW&CO is owned by Reitmans Limited. The Montreal-based company currently operates 78 stores in major shopping malls across Canada and offers online shopping at rw-co.com.
