DreamDry and Spruce & Bond on Tuesday announced that they have merged to form Hudson BLVD Group (HBG), the first multi-brand company in the luxury beauty services sector.
The new company serves to acquire, operate and develop a portfolio of likeminded specialty beauty service brands. HBG is pioneering a new way to deliver best in class beauty services and products to customers by rolling out exclusive perks like a rewards program that will launch by the end of this year. The brands under HBG will be able to leverage the group’s credibility and tap into new clientele, markets and vendors.
The group’s first acquisition is Pucker, a first class beauty and makeup destination founded by Hiyam McKelvey. Hudson BLVD will operate Pucker’s flagship studio in New York City in addition to Spruce & Bond’s six New York City studios, and DreamDry’s five salons in New York City, Chicago and Atlanta.
The group also announced its most recent capital round from Kuzari Group LLC, which brings its capital funding to over $10 million to date with revenues approaching $20 million.
