A new collaboration is for the two Belgians, who have worked hand in glove for Raf Simons' Autumn/Winter 2016-2017 advertising campaign.

The pictures by Willy Vanderperre appear in the form of a diptych, with a portrait on one side and a look on the other. It is the same approach used for the previous campaign, devised for the Belgian stylist's men's Spring/Summer 2016 collection, and designed to highlight the leading looks of the Autumn/Winter 2016-2017 too.

This season, the campaign is once again characterised by daring and mystery, with very dark backgrounds. The pictures have been shot outdoors, under a blustery sky, with lighting effects which create an almost ominous atmosphere.

Model Luca Lemaire, another Belgian, has also renewed his partnership with Raf Simons.  He takes centre stage in the campaign, striking poses which highlight the photos' enigmatic, frightening mood. He is featured alternatively from the back, the front, in close-up, hidden beneath an oversize hood, or with eyes that appear to be rolled back.

This is yet another collaboration between the Belgian designer and the Belgian photographer. Willy Vanderperre has taken care of all of Raf Simons' campaigns since the Autumn/Winter 2013, and had already worked with him in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
