Reality star Audrina Partridge tries her hand at swimwear

Reality TV star Audrina Patridge has launched her first swimwear line, Prey Swim. The Prey Swim resort 2017 collection is now available for purchase via the new label’s e-commerce site, with the hopes to move to wholesale in the future. The collection is relatively affordable, with pieces starting at $105 for bottoms and topping out at $275 for a one-piece.

The Orange County-based label’s inaugural collection is inspired by globe-trotting and eclectic feminine style, draws visual designs from the colors and textures of 1960’s Marrakesh. Styles include high-waisted bikini bottoms, cut-out one pieces, and simple patterned bandeaus and bikinis. The line is produced in partnership with Colombian swimwear company La Isla.

Patridge is best known for her role on reality TV show 'The Hills', airing from 2006 – 2009.

While several of Patridge’s co-stars utilized the popularity of the show to launch successful careers in the fashion industry, Patridge has not pursued fashion prior to this. 'The Hills' star Lauren Conrad is a successful lifestyle fashion designer and author.

Olivia Palermo, who starred in 'The Hills' spin-off 'The City', is Banana Republic’s global style ambassador and runs her own blog and e-commerce platform.
