Rebag opens third New York City store in World Trade Center shopping mall

Luxury handbag marketplace Rebag has opened its third New York City store inside the Oculus of the Westfield World Trade Center shopping mall, the company's fifth store to open this year.

The new location marks Rebag’s first retail space within a mall, and, according to a press release, makes the company the "first luxury reseller to open a permanent location within a tier 1 U.S. mall." 

The Oculus store will include familiar features from the company's other locations, including a wall of Hermès' famous Birkin bags. In addition, the store will also offer a Rebag Bar where customers can sell their bags for cash within an hour, or exchange a previous purchase for at least 70 percent of its original price via Rebag Infinity, the company's on-demand handbag rental service. 

Inside the mall, Rebag shares space with luxury stores like Dior Beauty Boutique, Montblanc, Boss by Hugo Boss and Stuart Weitzman. The mall was awarded MAPIC's Special Prize in 2016. 

Outside of its newest location, New York City customers can also access Rebag's services at its Madison Avenue and SoHo brick-and-mortar stores. 

The new Westfield World Trade Center boutique follows the company's two new West Coast store openings in Beverly Hills and Melrose Place.
