Rebag opens two new Los Angeles stores

Luxury handbag resale market Rebag has expanded its brick-and-mortar retail presence with the opening of two new stores in Los Angeles.

Located in Beverly Hills and Melrose, the two stores mark the company's first physical locations on the West Coast. 

A  stone's throw from Rodeo Drive, the Rebag Beverly Hills location is the company's first two-level flagship, located alongside Giuseppe Zanotti and other luxury retailers. The first floor features the company's Rebag bar where customers can have designer bags authenticated. On the second floor, shoppers will have access to hundreds of bags set out on display, including a wall of Hermès Birkin bags. 

Featuring a decorative cloud display and wrought iron windows, the Melrose Place location borders luxury brands like Oscar de la Renta and Monique Lhuillier, as well as fellow digital-first companies like Glossier and Away. Like its Beverly Hills counterpart, the Melrose store also offers a Rebag bar and Birkin display.

"Over the past year, we've seen considerable online adoption from customers on the West Coast and specifically in the LA area," said Charles Gorra, founder and CEO of Rebag. "

The time was right to expand our physical retail presence here, and [...] the market has shown us that there is a strong appetite for Rebag."

The two Los Angeles stores join Rebag's two New York City flagships, which opened earlier this year. 

Rebag continues to operate its digital platform online and through its mobile app, as well as the company's "on demand" handbag service Rebag Infinity, which launched earlier this year.
