Riccardo Tisci to release Chelsea Boot for Nike

Riccardo Tisci has just released a surprise collaboration with Nike, available for purchase Friday. The collaboration is one of many exclusive shoes being released this Friday in conjunction with the opening of Nike’s new flagship store in Manhattan.

This is not the first time the Givenchy designer has paired up with the sportswear giant. Earlier this year Tisci designed a performance wear collection with Nike. In the past, Tisci has also designed limited-edition versions of the Nike Air Force 1 and the Nike Dunk sneakers.

For this shoe, Tisci didn’t reinterpret a current Nike sneaker. The “Chelsea Chukka by Riccardo Tisci” resembles a cross between a Chelsea boot and a performance running shoe.

The shoes are available today via the SoHo Nike store at 21 Mercer Street. The shoe will be available online and at NikeLab stores at a later date.
