Richard Mille picks Margot Robbie as brand ambassador and co-designer

Swiss luxury watch brand Mille announced it has joined forces with Australian actress Margot Robbie, who will both co-design a watch collection for the brand and act as its new ambassador.

Teaming up with a film star is a first for Richard Mille, which in the past collaborated with top-level sport professionals such as F1 driver Felipe Massa, tennis ace Rafael Nadal and sprinter Wayde Van Niekerk.

Margot Robbie, who shot to fame with 'The Wolf of Wall Street', will not only be Richard Mille's brand ambassador, but will also co-design an exclusive line of watches "with a highly contemporary feel," the Swiss brand wrote in a press release.

The proceeds from this collaboration will go to Youngcare, a charity engaged in helping young Australians with disabilities to lead a dignified life.

Margot Robbie also starred in 'Focus', 'Suicide Squad' and 'The Legend of Tarzan', and will soon feature in 'Goodbye Christopher Robin' by Simon Curtis, to be released next autumn.
