Ross Stores names Bernie Brautigan as President, Merchandising, Ross Dress for Less

Ross Stores, Inc. announced Wednesday the appointment of Bernie Brautigan to President, Merchandising, Ross Dress for Less. He will be responsible for the Ladies apparel businesses, Children’s, Shoes and Accessories.

 
Brautigan held the position of Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager, and Group President of Shoes from 2003 to 2006, was Executive Vice President, Merchandising at Ross from 2009 to 2014 and since 2014 served as the Group Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Ross Dress for Less. Prior to Ross, he worked 20 years at Macy’s East in various merchandising positions.

Brautigan will continue to report to company Chief Executive Officer Barbara Rentler.
