Saavy launches new hemp based beauty line

Chatsworth, CA-based Trimax Corporation's wholly owned natural skincare subsidiary Saavy Naturals Inc. has launched Bay Rum & Hemp, a new line of all natural hemp based beauty and grooming products for men and women.

The new Bay Rum & Hemp line uses organic hemp oil as a key ingredient. The full product line includes handcrafted bar soap, a Dead Sea salt scrub, body cream, body wash and hair care products. All products have a classic herbal Bay Rum scent.

The hemp-based beauty market is a $688 million dollar industry already. The Hemp Business Journal estimates the hemp industry will grow to $1.8 billion by 2020 and will be led by hemp based body care.

According to a recent market research report, the U.S. skin and body care industry alone is expected to reach $10.7 billion by next year.

In time for Father's Day, Saavy is offering two men's grooming gift sets of the new hemp product line. The classic dad gift set includes a sea salt scrub as well as handmade soap and shampoo, retailing for $29.99. The dad essentials set includes soap, body wash and body cream and retails for $19.99.

Saavy products are currently sold nationwide at grocery stores and boutiques focused on the natural lifestyle. Retail partners include Whole Foods Market, Bristol Farms and Gelson's.

The full hemp-based product line ranges in price from $6 for 5oz of handmade soap to $15 for the Dead Sea salt scrub with witch hazel. It is available online now through the company's website.
