Sacai launches debut eyewear collection

After launching a collection of bags in October, designer Chitose Abe has released a debut eyewear collection, in collaboration with Linda Farrow. The glasses were unveiled during the Sacai Autumn/Winter 2017 show in Paris on Monday. 

The Sacai x Linda Farrow collection boasts three models in classic colourways: blue, black and white. Each one carries its own characteristics in the hybrid style known to the Japanese designer. 

The sunglasses, on sale from 388 euros, were designed using a fusion technique with industrial metal frames and highly polished acetate, creating original details.

"As it is always with Sacai, I like to play with a products most authentic and pure form to find ways to create something new and unexpected, while staying 'real'. My goal was to create sunglasses that I would love to wear personally, and I am so happy with the outcome," said Chitose Abe, in a press release.
