Salvo Nicosia promoted to communications chief of Alberta Ferretti and Pollini

The Aeffe Group  has appointed  Salvo Nicosia to be its new Director of Communications for Alberta Ferretti and Pollini.

The appointment takes effect that from January 12, 2021.

The new position marks a significant promotion for Nicosia, who was already in charge of Celebrity Services for Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini and Pollini.

A notably popular figure in the fashion industry, Nicosia joined the Aeffe Group from the sector’s largest PR consultancy firm Karla Otto. Prior to that he handled celebrity and VIP dressing for Dolce & Gabbana.

The bearded, London-based Nicosia is a perennial presence at gala events from Cannes to Hollywood. He is also something of a star in his own right; since his Instagram account, #thebeardedpublicist, boasts 101,000 followers.
