Sam Edelman opens at The Shops in Boston

Sam Edelman announced on Monday the opening of a new store at The Shops at Prudential Center in Boston. The new store is the ninth from the brand to open in the US and the first to open in Massachusetts.

 
Dagnell Folger of Architecture + Information designed the 2,795-square-foot store that features a mix of materials like reclaimed wood, raw concrete, rose-colored brass and black leather, as well as vintage furniture pieces curated by Sam Edelman himself, and hints of the brand’s signature shade of green. The brand’s full lifestyle assortment is displayed on custom-designed fixtures.
 
Sam Edelman launched in 2004 offering laid-back luxury and timeless American style. The brand currently has operates nine retail locations in addition to the Boston store, including flagship stores in New York City and Beverly Hills, as well as stores at South Coast Plaza and Valley Fair in California, Mall at Millenia and Palm Beach Gardens in Florida, The Forum Shops in Las Vegas and Garden State Plaza in New Jersey. Two stores at Aventura Mall in Florida and NorthPark Center in Dallas are slated to open in spring 2016.

The Sam Edelman Brand is a division of Caleres. Other contemporary brands under Caleres include Franco Sarto, Vince, Via Spiga, Diane von Furstenberg, Fergie Footwear and Carlos Santana.
