Sears Canada Board appoints Heywood Wilansky as Director

Sears Canada Inc. on Friday announced that its Board of Directors appointed Heywood Wilansky as a Director of the Company.

 
Wilansky possesses over 20 years of Board experience and 45 years of retail experience. Since 2010, Wilansky has served as President and CEO of Strategic Management Resources LLC, a consulting service that helps clients develop effective high levels of organizational capability.
 
Prior to Strategic Management Resources, he was President and CEO of Retail Ventures Inc., President and CEO of Bon-Ton Stores and held executive positions with Lord & Taylor and Hecht Company.

Wilansky is a Director at Swan Products, LLC and has also been a corporate director of DSW Inc., Retail Ventures, Inc., Bertucci’s Corp., Steve Madden Ltd., Bon-Ton Stores and First Washington Realty Trust, Inc.
