Andrew will be responsible for implementing corporate transformations and capability development, including financial planning and analysis, business finance, procurement, legal and human resources.

Andrew leaves his role as executive vice president and the chief strategy and innovation officer at Royal Philips N.V. During his tenure there, he led the company’s digital transformation and a major repositioning of Philips’ portfolio, among other things.

Prior to Philips, Andrew worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for 25 years, where he consulted with Fortune 250 companies across a wide range of industries on corporate strategy, portfolio composition and shareholder value creation and growth.

Sears Holdings Corporation is a leading integrated retailer that has been faltering for the past few years. As such, Sears' chairman and CEO, Edward Lampert, has been transforming the company's business model from a "traditional, store-network based retail business model to a more asset-light, member-centric integrated retailer leveraging our Shop Your Way platform," he said last June.

The company operates through its subsidiaries, including Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Kmart Corporation across the United States.
