Sequential Brands Group, a US-based marketer of consumer brands in the active and fashion categories, has reported a decline in its revenue to $22.5 million during the second quarter (Q2) FY20, ended on June 30.

This compared to revenue of $26.4 million in same period last year. The net loss attributable to the company was $2.7 million (Q2 FY19: $4.5 million).

“Despite the ongoing challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic has presented, it has also demonstrated the durability of our business model and the demand for several of our core brands. While there is still much uncertainty in the macro-environment and the apparel and accessories industry, we believe that we’re on the right path forward to position the company for long-term growth,” David Con, Sequential Brands Group CEO, said in a press release.

Operating expenses for the quarter were $11.1 million ($13.9 million). The company’s income from the operations were $12.3 million ($12.5 million).
