Shiseido names Ronald Gee CFO of Americas

Shiseido Americas Corporation announced Wednesday the appointment of Ronald Gee as Chief Financial Officer, effective April 22, 2016. He will report to Shiseido Americas President & CEO Marc Rey. Frank Toscano, who has been serving as Interim CFO since October 2014 will remain at the company as a consultant to work on a range of internal projects.

 
Gee heads to Shiseido from Coty, Inc., where he served as CFO of the Americas for three years and was responsible for leading the region’s strategic plan and commercial execution across the mass, prestige and salon channel businesses. Prior to Coty, he worked at L’Oréal USA for almost 10 years, most recently as Vice President of Finance for the International Designer Collections.

At Shiseido, Gee will lead Shiseido Americas’ finance and information technology operations and support regional integration efforts as the company continues to enhance the corporate structure of its prestige brands, including NARS Cosmetics, Bare Escentuals, Shiseido Cosmetics America and Beauté Prestige International.
