Simon Chang partners with Giant Tiger on new collection

Canadian fashion designer Simon Chang is teaming up with Canadian discount retailer Giant Tiger for a second exclusive collection. 

 
The spring/summer womenswear collection launched in stores and online on Wednesday and features fashionable pieces “designed to mix and match within the collection and also to integrate seamlessly into existing wardrobes," according to a press release.
 
The line dubbed 'Pop' first launched last fall with its debut collection of timeless pieces made with special attention paid to fit.

"I want women to know when they are shopping for that perfect piece it's important to be adventurous, be daring and fashion forward. The hot new colours will definitely make your new wardrobe pop," Chang said of the new collection. 
 
The discount retailer has been undergoing a fashion transformation, which has been in the works for the last three years. It included the launch of three new children's lines in fall 2016, as well as the launch of new women's wear brands in spring 2016 and men’s wear brands in fall 2017.
 
Among its women's fashion lines, the company is claiming success with recent launch of exclusive in-house brands Lily Morgan, MyStyle and ACX Active. 
 
Meanwhile, The Simon Chang Pop collection has rounded out the company’s existing brand offering by providing women with affordable designer pieces. 
 
Giant Tiger is Canada's largest discount store. It is Canadian owned and has a store network of over 250 locations and 9,000 employees across Canada.
