Simon opens Clarksburg Premium Outlets in Washington DC area

Simon announced on Thursday the grand opening of Clarksburg Premium Outlets serving the greater Washington DC and Montgomery County areas.

 
The 392,000-square-foot center is home to brands and retailers such as Coach, Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, Under Armour and Saks Off 5th among others. Shoppers have access to everyday savings of 25 to 65 percent on apparel, footwear, fashion accessories, leather goods and home furnishings.
 
In addition to the retail offering, Clarksburg Premium Outlets houses community spaces like a courtyard and children’s play area, and offers amenities including Simon Guest Services with merchant information, gift cards, stroller rentals and complimentary wheelchairs. Simon noted that Clarksburg is the country’s first two-story outdoor outlet shopping destination and its second LEED-certified Premium Outlet center.

Simon owns 66% interest in Clarksburg Premium Outlets. The real estate development company is slated to open Brickell City Centre in Miami this fall and The Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth, Texas, Siheung Premium Outlets in Seoul, Premium Outlet Collection in Edmonton and Provence Designer Outlet in Miramas, France in 2017.

Clarksburg Premium Outlets is located at 22705 Clarksburg Road in Clarksburg and is a venture of Simon, New England Properties and Streetscape.
