Simon opens new fashion wing at Del Amo Fashion Center

Simon Property Group on Friday opened its new ‘Fashion Wing’ at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, California. The two-level, 140,000-square-foot space houses brands such as Kate Spade, Hugo Boss, Guess, Lululemon, Michael Kors, J. Crew, Madewell, Vince Camuto, Brooks Brothers, Uniqlo, and Victoria’s Secret, not to mention the Nordstrom store that serves as an anchor for the mall.

"South Bay holds a special place with us – we started serving customers here nearly 30 years ago, and we owe them a lot for helping us build our business here over the years," said Bob Middlemas, Nordstrom Executive Vice President and Southern California Regional Manager.
 
The Nordstrom store houses five shoe departments, cosmetics and accessories areas, and brand names like Topshop and Topman, Alexander Wang, Elizabeth and James, Rag & Bone, Current Elliott, Kate Spade New York, Rebecca Minkoff, Tory Burch, NARS, Jo Malone, Tom Ford Fragrance and others.

Del Amo’s transformation is to be completed in 2016 and will include a renovation of common areas, new tile floors, glass handrails, LED lighting and entrances. Additional stores are slated to open before Thanksgiving 2015.
