The European private equity firm has wanted to get hold of former M&S CEO for over a decade, according to Vogue. Running brand investments such as Fat Face and Pret A Manger, the retail guru finally takes up the job offer from long-time friend and Bridgepoint’s managing partner William Jackson, who comments on Rose having “unparalleled experience in the retail world where Bridgepoint has made substantial investments over the years.”
