SkinCeuticals names Stephanie Kramer as general manager

Published
Dec 2, 2020

L'Oréal USA has appointed Stephanie Kramer as general manager of SkinCeuticals USA, effective December 1.

Stephanie Kramer, general manager of SkinCeuticals USA - SkinCeuticals

Kramer succeeds Christina Fair, who was promoted last month to the role of president, active cosmetics division, North America. Fair led SkinCeuticals as general manager since 2018. During her time in the role, she helped the brand achieve the title of number one medical professional skincare brand in the U.S., and helped launch SkinCeuticals 'SkinLabs,' the brand's series of physical stores.

Fair previously served as vice president of global marketing for SkinCeuticals DMI, where she led the development of two of the brand's most successful product launches, Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 and H.A. Intensifier, and spearheaded the SkinCeuticals expansion into medical devices, the brand said.

Fair began her career with L'Oréal USA in the consumer products division in 2008, first as an assistant vice president of marketing for Garnier Skincare and then as the vice president of marketing for Maybelline, overseeing the face and nail category.

"I am thrilled to step into my new role as president of active cosmetics division in North America overseeing CeraVe, SkinCeuticals, La Roche-Posay, Vichy, and Dermablend - especially with the confidence that the future of SkinCeuticals is left in skilled, capable hands," Fair said.  "I look forward to this new era for the brand led by [Kramer] and wish her continued success in this next endeavor."

Kramer most recently served as global senior vice president of marketing, product innovation and retail at SkinCeuticals. While serving in this role, Kramer and her team were responsible for new product development, retail and go to market strategies including the new launch of Tripeptide-R Neck Repair, scientific communications, as well as project management, the brand said. She brings 18 years of business strategy and marketing experience to her new role as general manager.

Prior to joining SkinCeuticals in 2019, Kramer served as vice president of global marketing for Kiehl's Since 1851, another L'Oréal-owned brand. In that role, she contributed to driving the business's sustained double-digit growth and global expansion, and created its global sustainability program, Made Better. Prior to her time with Kiehl's, Kramer held several positions in fragrance and skincare at Chanel, Inc., including director of marketing and executive director of marketing.
