SkinCeuticals promotes Amy Sloan to U.S. general manager

Published

L'Oréal's SkinCeuticals announced on Monday the appointment of Amy Sloan as the cosmeceutical brand's new U.S. general manager, effective immediately.

Amy Sloan - SkinCeuticals

Sloan brings 15 years of global and U.S. beauty industry experience to the role of head of SkinCeuticals U.S, having spent ten of those years at the Dallas-founded skincare company.

Most recently, the beauty veteran served as vice president of marketing for the SkinCeuticals U.S. team for three years, following seven years with SkinCeuticals global as head of omni-channel marketing, when she joined L'Oréal USA in 2011.

Before her tenure at L'Oreal USA, Sloan held marketing positions at L'Occitane en Provence and Nature Publishing Group.

"This next chapter in my SkinCeuticals story is an exciting one for me, most of all because of the team behind the brand," said Sloan. "With the unique talents that each individual provides, I know that continued success and shared triumphs are in our future.

Sloan succeeds Stephanie Kramer, who last month was promoted to global general manager of SkinCeuticals, after serving over a year in the U.S. general manager of SkinCeuticals role.

"The authentic heritage of this brand, the commitment to science and our esteemed medical partners, and the people who make SkinCeuticals truly special never cease to impress me," said Kramer. "It is with pride and anticipation for what is to come that I transition the U.S. role to Amy's skilled hands."

Founded in 1997 by Russell Moon, SkinCeuticals offers scientific-based skincare products driven by sun protection and antioxidant technology. Items are available in over 6,000 doctor offices in the U.S., and in the past 5 years has launched a flagship-doctor partner program with over 100 dermatologists and plastic surgeons.

The company, acquired by L'Oréal Group in 2005, boasts nine integrated U.S. skincare destinations in St. Helena, CA, Stamford, CT, Houston, TX, Palm Desert, CA, Grand Rapids, MI, Scottsdale, AZ, Charleston, SC, New York, NY and Miami, FL.
