Smiley goes high-end with Bloomingdales launch

The London-based Smiley Company has inked a new deal to launch a range of t-shirts with licensee Daydreamer LA at famous United States department store chain Bloomingdales. 

This is the latest effort in a series of high profile collaborations including recent tie-ins with prestigious outerwear brand Moncler, French luxury boutique Colette and British fashion designer Anya Hindmarch.

The Bloomingdales launch will expand Smiley’s presence in the US and boost its fast growing global apparel retail footprint. Smiley has enjoyed a remarkable retail growth of 31% since 2015.

"We are very happy to see Smiley back at Bloomingdale's with Daydreamer LA. Thanks to all our high-end collaborations, the Smiley brand is seen all over the world as a strong fashion icon,” commented Smiley CEO Nicolas Loufrani.

The collection includes distressed over-dyed tanks with choker neck detailing and bold plays on The Original Smiley icon. It will be available online and in store across the USA.
