Sophie Trudeau lands Fashion Magazine cover
Canadian publication Fashion Magazine announced this week that the wife of Canada’s Prime Minister, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, will appear on the cover of its March feminist-themed issue.
On the cover, Grégoire-Trudeau is pictured in a navy blue number with minimal make-up and slicked back hair. Inside the magazine, Grégoire-Trudeau talks about women’s rights, her advocacy work and opens up about her recovery from bulimia in an eight-page feature.
In the spread, she is photographed in Ottawa at the National Gallery of Canada sporting designs from several Canadian designers including Lucian Matis, Dean Davidson, Smythe, Jenny Bird, Markoo and Greta Constantine.
Since her husband became Prime Mininster just over a year ago, Grégoire-Trudeau has become an international voice for Canadian design. She is often photographed wearing Canadian brands and even attended the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards last year.
The Fashion Magazine issue is set to hit news stands on February 13, ahead of International Women’s Day.
