Stance releases Rihanna’s first sock collection and campaign

Stance on Wednesday released its first seasonal sock collection and campaign directed by Rihanna, the brand’s Contributing Creative Director.

The collection consists of 15 styles that range from crew to thigh high socks inspired by a ‘Baby Goth Punk’ theme. Six of the 15 styles continue Rihanna’s ‘Murder Rih Wrote’ theme that was featured on styles released in July with the announcement of the singer being named Contributing Creative Director and ‘Punk and Poet’ brand ambassador. The remaining styles are punk inspired, goth through a feminine lens and knuckle tattoos.
 
"This collection and campaign give people a peek into all sides of her personality, from the novelty of the toe socks to the hard edge of the punk prints. I think the creative really showcases what fashion is to her. It's meant to be bold, it's meant to be fun, and it's meant to be expressive," said Candy Harris, SVP of the Women's Division at Stance. 

Rihanna said of the partnership in July, "I've had a great relationship with Stance for a long time and ‎I am happy to be working with them on such a fun and creative project. This is an exciting new venture."
 
The Rihanna collection for Stance is available now on the Stance website and at specialty retailers like Opening Ceremony and Colette. Select styles can be found at nationwide department stores.
 
In August, Stance added rapper, Big Sean to its Punk & Poet roster.
