Style.com names Anna Wintour and Pascal Cagni to Board of Directors

Style.com, the e-commerce fashion site owned by Condé Nast, has appointed two big names to its Board of Directors: Anna Wintour and Pascal Cagni.

Wintour is the Editor of American Vogue and Artistic Director of Condé Nast in the US. Cagni is a partner and founder of C4 Ventures and the former Apple General Manager/Vice President of Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

“Anna and Pascal bring the highest level of experience, know-how and authority to the Style.com board. They are stars in their respective fields, each with a terrific track record of accomplishment. They will bring their unique talents to Style.com,” said Jonathan Newhouse, Chairman and Chief Executive of Condé Nast International.

Wintour commented, "The new Style.com will make the readers' editorial experience even richer and provide greater access and insights into the worlds they love. I am thrilled to bring everything I know about the fashion industry to a project that is brilliantly engaged with the present—and going to shape the future".

The new Style.com will be an e-commerce and omni-channel shopping experience, launching initially in Britain. It has already signed more than 200 retail partners, mainly fashion brands.
