Sustainable womenswear brand Perennial will open its first pop-up store

Published
Sep 20, 2018

Luxury womenswear brand Perennial will open its first pop-up store on October 1 in San Francisco. A new capsule collection will be released at the shop, and the pop-up will remain open through October 15.

Each of the brand's designs are made sustainably and in small batches to promote conscious buying. - Via Perennial

The collection making its debut at the store was made sustainably throughout "initial design, to fabric-sourcing, small-batch production and recycling of scraps," the brand said in a press release, boosting Perennial's image as an ethical label and a promoter of conscious consumerism. The label produces less than 25 pieces of each of its designs per collection.

Currently, the young brand operates exclusively through its website and Instagram page, where it creates brand imagery centered on minimalist aesthetics and fine art. On its online journal and Instagram feed, photos of the upcoming capsule's designs are bordered by vintage photos of Picasso in-studio and Jean Royère furniture. There are no items for sale through either of the brand's online platforms.

Founder and sole employee Amelia Haney created Perennial while traveling between London, Paris and New York City, and is currently based in Sausalito, California. Previously based in Manhattan, her label is a member of Made in New York City, an organization that supports sustainable jobs in local communities.
