Swarovski unveils new "Crystals from Swarovski" label

Published
Jan 5, 2015

Used like Gore-Tex or Intel as a brand ingredient in finished products, the jewelry brand Swarovski has introduced a new marketing program that in one fell swoop ends the concept "Swarovski Elements", which may have lacked visibility in terms of both clients and consumers.

Following a series of surveys conducted with the general public that have attested to the fact that "consumers are willing to pay more for products displaying the Swarovski seal," the brand is now offering partners, through its new program "Crystallized Swarovski", a label that indicates the precise origin and authenticity of the crystals used in finished products.

More specifically, the company’s partners will receive each product with a label featuring a unique alphanumeric code intended to fight against counterfeiting and designed with a secure hologram.

Swarovski’s partners will also enjoy a new range of merchandising tools as well as a new POS display.

Working with the biggest fashion brands in the world since 1895, Swarovski is aiming to reassure both its major clients and its partners by strengthening the recognition and traceability of its products in its sales and distribution network.
