T.J.Maxx tours 'Changing Room' experience
Targeted at the company’s female shoppers, the ‘In-Store Changing Room Experiences’ will offer 98 T.J.Maxx customers the opportunity to have an hour-long, in-store consultation with life coach, body positive fashion model and wellness entrepreneur, Danika Brysha, as well as stylist, beauty entrepreneur and author, Africa Miranda.
For a chance to win one of the 98 spots, women can select their closest participating T.J.Maxx location at maxxyouproject.com and fill out a form to enter the contest.
Participating locations include T.J.Maxx stores in Chicago, Denver, Houston and San Francisco, among others. The company will accept entries from August 19 through September 13.
In a press statement, the company said that the activation is an extension of ‘The Changing Room’ interactive pop-up, which ran for three days in June of this year in New York City. Intended to celebrate individuality and the importance of change, the pop-up featured special activations including interactive display mirrors, appearances by actress Lea Michele and author Lauren Scruggs and individual story recording booths. ‘The Changing Room’ comes as part of ‘The Maxx You Project,’ which is now in its third year.
"T.J.Maxx is a place to explore who you are now, and who you are becoming," said Gina Bollus, the company’s manager of marketing. "We want to help you be you. Whether it's through fashion or more tangible experiences like The Changing Room, we are proud to continue to help women navigate their individual journeys."
T.J.Maxx will launch the changing room ‘tour’ with an appearance by former NSYNC member and television personality Lance Bass at an undisclosed T.J.Maxx location in New York City on August 27. The tour will then continue with Miranda and Brysha making their stops at participating T.J.Maxx locations across the country.
