Choosing Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre as its Canadian home base, the store spans 760 square feet, while embracing the brand’s latest store design.

Amachris Corporation designed the space, which includes an intricate metal façade – built to reference the complex internal mechanics of a watch - grey and black fixtures, stone floors, and red details in the carpeting and trim, highlighting the brand’s involvement in the world of motor racing.

In-store, shoppers can discover Tag Heuer’s timepieces displayed in branded showcases including the brand’s core collection of watches and special collaborative pieces.

Despite being its first storefront in the country, Tag Heuer has long been stocked at Maison Birks, the Hudson’s Bay, and select jewelers including Berani and L’Oro, in Canada.

The brand owned by LVMH joins a number of first-to-Canada retailers to open at Yorkdale in recent years including luxury retailers like Valentino, Bottega Veneta and Van Cleef & Arpels, to name a few.

The Yorkdale Tag Heuer boutique marks the brand’s ninth retail location in North America with other stores located in New York City, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando and Las Vegas.

In September, LVMH appointed one of its own group executives, Benjamin Beaufils, as the Swiss brand's president for North America. Tag Heuer had been without a U.S.-based branch president since January, when Kilian Müller departed.

The brand is expected at Baseworld 2020 next year.
