Tanger unveils plans for 350,000 sq. ft. designer outlet center in Texas

Tanger Factory Outlet Centers is planning its newest shopping destination in the Fort Worth/Denton, Texas metropolitan area adjacent to the Texas Motor Speedway. When completed, the shopping destination will feature 350,000 square feet of retail space and over 70 brand name and designer outlet retailers.
Tanger has already signed leases with Nike, Levi's, Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy, Express, Skechers, Carter's and Oshkosh for the new retail space.
"We are excited to join this vibrant market and fast growing community, neighboring the world famous Texas Motor Speedway and just a short drive to Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, downtown Fort Worth and its renowned cultural district," said Steven B. Tanger, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tanger Outlets.
Not only will Tanger expand the retail footprint of Fort Worth/Denton, it will also bring jobs and fuel the local economy. The outlet center is expected to create over 400 full and part-time jobs during the construction phase of the project, and more than 900 full and part-time retail jobs once the center opens.
In addition to Tanger, the commercial mixed-use 279-acre Fine Line Diversified Development's Champions Circle is also host to the Dallas-Fort Worth Marriott Hotel; Buc-ee’s Travel Center; two apartment complexes, and Champions Shopping Center.
